I wish I had posted something before, so my first post on Dreamwidth wouldn't be this unpleasant.
I went to the ER today. I was feeling dizzy when I stood, and I checked my BP and got 190/102. By the time I got to the ER and got a bed (in the hall, by the ambulance bay doors) I was down to 141/96. Had an EKG and blood work. talked to the Dr quick and was discharged. Got a ride back to work/home. I spent the rest of the day in bed. It's now evening, and I feel nearly human.
Stuck my head out a window a few minutes ago to have a sniff. That's the other thing about today. Work/home is next to an animal feed plant. Routinely they vent interesting things into the neighborhood. One winter the snow around here was cheetos yellow. Usually our cars are covered in something like powdered milk. Today it smells like butyric acid. Butyric acid is the main distinctive smell of human vomit. So, all in all, a good day to stay inside at work/home.

Seven days ago it was -24F out and I was sleeping on a camp cot.
Now its 21F out, I'm cozy in my bed, and I'm planning on getting the last of my stuff out of the old place this weekend.
